Post was Updated: March 14, 2013

Episode IV: What I am running on my Galaxy Nexus?,

Last Episode, I introduced Liquid Smooth. I have not posted another episode since then.  Today I would like to introduce JBSOURCERY, I been running for the last week, and quite happy with it, its properly the most feature packed  ROM out there for Galaxy Nexus.  I can not even write down all the features it includes in this post, because there are too many.  Just to list few, AOKP Style Toggles, CM Style Toggles, Lockscreen Options (Slider Shortcuts), Navigation Bar (Up to 5 soft keys), Status Bar (battery, clock, signal),  and some of the  mods include Animation (download and change screen transition).  Try it for yourself, and leave your feedback below, i will also include the current kernel i am using with this ROM, I did not use the  JBSOURCERY  kernel that came with it, instead I loaded TinyKernel, new recently released Kernel, and properly the best Kernel i used for Jelly Bean ROM.

Lenovo Ideapad K1 CM9 Ice Cream Sandwich Unofficial Port

We now have unofficial Cayanogen Mod 9 for Lenovo Ideapad K1, thanks to "Khanning"

This is an unofficial CM9 port for the Lenovo Ideapad K1 tablet. To flash this Rom you must be already running the official Lenovo ICS Rom or my AOSP ICS build. This WILL NOT work if you are currently running Honeycomb or the Alpha cm9 port, update to one of the newer Roms then flash this from CWM recovery.

How to Install New Keyboard Languages in Samsung Galaxy S3 (Part 2)

As you know from my previous post. Samsung Galaxy only supports 6 Language. To get other languages you have to install third party apps. I have tested all 4 of these apps and they work. I currently use SwiftKey 3 Keyboard and it works great.

Best Option:  If you are rooted and have custom ROM installed, you get a lot of options for languages.
Follow instructions here to root: ROOT
Install this Custom ROM: LS RC9

Ice Cream Sandwich (4.04) for Lenovo Ideapad K1 ROM

Last Updated: August 11th, 2012

Last week, official Ice Cream Sandwich was released for Lenovo Idepad K1, but without one valuable asset , the "Google Play Store" .  After the released developer by the name of khanning, took the release and added the Google Play Store in matters of hours and I posted that here on another post.  But still with that release from khanning, there was still another issue, with the compatibility issue of apps/games from the market not showing up.

Episode III:  What I am running on my Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)?

Another week another ROM, if you did not read what i was running in Episode II, I ran Bugless Beast by Pete, I did not have no issues with that ROM, it ran great, I highly recommend it to anybody who wants to stock experience of Jelly Bean with added boast.

Bugless Beast Jelly Bean 4.1.1 for Verizon Galaxy Nexus by Samsung (CDMA/TORO)

Last Update: 8-06-2012

Episode II:  What I am running on my Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)?

With a large collection of ROMS  for Galaxy Nexus (Google Device), because of the support by many developers.  This makes a difficult decision to pick what ROM should i try?  I always stick with one ROM for weeks or months depending on how stable it is or if it has the features I need.  Last episode I was running Jelly Bean 3.6 by Jakeday, I ran it for 1-2 weeks before I decided to switch.  Reason for switch? I had soft reboot issues, whenever I turn on the WiFi, 4G connectivity issues.  There is also new Jelly Bean 3.7 release out from the developer to this ROM ( link: Jelly Bean 3.7), if anybody wish to try the new update, leave comment below, if you want to report anything about the new release.

Jelly Bean Final SDK available for download

The Final Version of Jelly Bean SDK is out. The SDK was available since it was released Google I/O but as of July 18 the final version is out. There has been lots of bug fixes in both the tools package and in the Eclipse plugin. If you haven't got your hands on the SDK yet, you can follow source link below to see how to download it.

64GB Samsung Galaxy S III will be available during the second half of this year

It has seem like the 64GB Samsung Galaxy S3 has been discontinued. Some stores have even marked the phone as discontinued on there sites. If you were hoping to get a hold of the 64GB Samsung Galaxy S3, there is still hope. Samsung has told The Verge that they are not discontinuing the 64GB Samsung Galaxy S3. It will be available during the second half of this year, so if your wanted to get the roomy headset, you will have to wait a little bit longer.

Jelly Bean 4.1.1 for Verizon Galaxy Nexus by Samsung (CDMA/TORO)

Episode I:  What I am running on my Galaxy Nexus (Verizon)?

This post was last updated on: July 30, 2012 (9AM PST)

*I have been experiencing some soft reboots with this ROM and WiFi issues, so I made the switch to a different ROM (Bugless Beast, so far been great!), watch the main blog for links to the current ROM I am running*  Feel free to leave any comments for this ROM, if this ROM been working well for you or what not.  In meantime, I will update this post best I can to latest releases from maker of the ROM.

Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean)  source is released from Google.  What does that mean for everybody who owns a nexus device?  This provides the necessary files, binaries, and drivers for developers who make  customized ROMS.  This is good news for the end users, this means more ROMS coming your way for flashing.  I will provide a link below to the ROM am currently running on my Nexus (CDMA) using the latest android 4.1.1 that is built from the source.  Ones again i will be only posting links for CDMA Verizon of Galaxy Nexus.   I will update this post regularly if there is any new update.
